He is recognised by the toy collectors’ community as one of the best toy photographers in China, has collaborated with several toy manufacturers, and is a verified ‘Talented Contributor’ on Weibo. |

Guo started with toy photography after being inspired by pictures he saw on Instagram, of talented counterparts who combined their hobbies of photography and toy collecting, and has not looked back since. He co-founded PlaB Toy Lab in Guangzhou, providing toy collectors a haven for indulging in their hobby and a base in which the community may grow. Guo enjoys making creative images of Star Wars, Transformers and superhero figures. In 2015, Guo created a set of images named ‘Toy Spring Festival’ that parodied the annual spring migration of China’s population, that gained national attention. |
