Kyleigh’s passion and creativity for toy photography grew in 2012 with the proliferation of social media platforms, allowing her to share and interact with the international community of toy photographers. Using the nickname that stuck with her as a lively and jubilant youth, Kyleigh is well known within the global toy photography community as Captain Dangerous. Kyleigh enjoys creating images that capture wonder and emotions, and her pictures provoke deep connections and memories with legions of anime fans. She has been published in Games Master magazine, and sites such as EntertainmentEarth.com. She is only a handful of toy photographers in the world to be formally engaged by the companies GoodSmile Company and Nintendo as a visual stylist for their image library. Approaching her photography with wonder and mischief, Kyleigh’s images capture a unique sense of realism amidst the fantasy that is familiar to video gamers worldwide. She spends her time with her husband, taking photos, editing and tackling the world’s toughest bosses in video games. Accompanied by their dog and cat - Scout and Sir Hammerlock, they continue to venture into new avenues of toy collecting and photography. |
