Patrik RöhrWonderfactory Artist, Sunne, SwedenPatrikRöhr(b.1986) is a pre-press operator in the publishing industry and lives in the town of Sunne, Varmland County in Sweden. Patrik grew up on a diet of dinosaur toys from the Dino Riders and Jurassic Park figures, and had a deep love of dinosaurs as a part of the world we all live in. |
In 2009, Patrik stumbled upon realistic dinosaur figures from brands such as Papo and Rebor and having just started nature photography as a hobby, accidentally started his amazing journey towards becoming one of the most highly regarded dinosaur photographers in the world. Patrik now fulfills a very niche position, producing ultra-realistic images of dinosaurs that are rarely seen in the academic and scientific communities. His work has been exhibited at the Singapore Science Centre, as part of the global premiere of DinoQuest, a dinosaur exhibition curated by Australian paleontologist Emeritus Professor Patricia Vickers-Rich. Patrik is currently working on a Dinosaurs book, the first one ever to use ‘life-action’ pictures to illustrate these prehistoric dinosaurs. |
