Take a look at the work of Lukas Wiecek, who runs a Dance and Fitness Studio together with his wife in a town called Białystok in Poland. Lukas started taking pictures of his LEGO mini figures in 2016 when he started seeing his friends doing it as a hobby, and it has now become very much his most enjoyable form of relaxation and creative expression.
He loves recreating dynamic scenes from the movies with his mini figures, and have mastered the method of taking the limbs off of them, and using putty to pose them in the most interesting ways… as much as he can make possible with the tiny limbs!
Compared to other toys, Lukas loves working with LEGO mini figures because they take so little space, but stretches his creativity to the fullest, given their limitations. He enjoys tremendously the challenge of making the little figures do big things and creating their own stories in tiny scale.
Lukas is in the midst of writing an e-book about his LEGO photography, sharing his methods and techniques.
