Today we introduce the beautiful work of Kenny Foo, a commercial photographer who runs his own studio that specialises in product and portrait works for corporate and individual clients in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Kenny started collecting 1/6 scale figures in 2015, when he became intrigued by the quality and realism of premium figures manufactured by HK company Hot Toys. He started taking photographs of them in 2018 as a very natural progression, from the elaborate photoshoots he does of products and people in the course of his work.

He feels that the best toy photography are often created when photographers are aware that they are creating installation art, styling the shoot with the subject and props to create either meaning, or aesthetic effects, for images that stand out.
While a relative newcomer to the scene, Kenny has already held a solo toy photography exhibition in Kuala Lumpur, in October of 2019.
