"This image is part of my 'Ink-blot' series. Like all the other works in the series, this one took me quite a lot of time to get the image I wanted. The ink never behaves in a predictable way, making the process frustrating most of the time. I even created the term 'ink-whisperer', and wished I was one.
But when I finally get the image that I want, I never fail to feel that it was all worth it.
In a variation from the other ink-blot images; I added atmospheric ambience by creating a thin layer of mixed paint, avoiding the helmet to be contaminated.
In toy photography, it is uncommon to find strong female characters from the 'Dark side', so this time I wanted to give Captain Phasma all the respect she deserves."
