THINKER

One of David's favourite activities in life is posing action figures. He has done it all his life, and since he was a kid, could be totally absorbed in it that he would forget time. As a comic book illustrator-hobbyist, David's knowledge of the human anatomy and posture has permeated into his photography, and his pictures capture a realism in poses that is appreciated throughout the toy photography community. It is a natural evolution that he took the biggest influences of historical art as a reference, and attempt to capture their classic poses with his figures.

This picture is a reference to the famous bronze sculpture The Thinker by French sculptor Auguste Rodin. This image as part of the series attracted the attention of art journalists from around the world, and remains one of David's most popular images.
